La ceremonia más importante del cine global, los Premios Oscar 2022, se llevaron a cabo el domingo 27 de marzo desde Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos, y entre sus nominados aparece el cortometraje nacional Bestia, en la candidatura Mejor corto animado.
Lamentablemente la película chilena no pudo ganar.
Por otro lado, en la ceremonia oficial, la entrega musical estuvo a cargo de Beyoncé, Billie Eilish y FINNEAS, Reba McEntire y Sebastián Yatra, quienes interpretarán las canciones nominadas a Canción original.
